CONGRATS on all the APPROVALS

********************************************************************************

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

CONGRATS on all the APPROVALS

I see that a lot of people have been approved!

Just wanted to share my case: Filed for AOS 08/12 and got a RFE 09/09, it took me a while to get all the documentation (my wife does not cover the support requirements and we had to find a co-sponsor) so I file the documentation 10/17 -more than a month later  -

My case has been "touched" on the CIS website saying that it has been transferred to the California Service Center (10/30) and it was recently touched yesterday! (11/06)

Receipt Number: MSC------------

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. To receive e-mail updates, follow the link below to register.

Just a few questions:

on the website I have status of all 3 petitions (AOS,AP,EAD) but so far only the AOS is the one showing any progress...is this normal??? AP & EAD haven't moved at all since 09/08...so would the CSC be in charge of approving all 3 petitions?

Any info/comments/experience would be greatly appreciated.

also, does the fact that it was transferred to the CSC means that we won't have an interview?

Congrats on the approvals!!

Joey77, only the AOS itself gets transferred to CSC (or to a local office). The National Benefits Center in Missouri handles the AP and EAD. The system is wonky and will not necessarily show all updates, but even if it does show them all for you, that makes total sense. You get 2 or 3 touches on the AOS when it is transferred (one is them mailing it, another is CSC receiving it and opening it). You might also get a touch on both your EAD and AOS right after your biometrics appointment, but not on the AP. After that, you may not have any touches at all on your AP or EAD until they approve them.

GFL - We're looking to move next year sometime to a different State - we'll have to get jobs there and rent first to save for a mortgage but I can't wait to get our own place instead of renting - I just think it is going to take a while :(

Girl, CA is sooooo expensive! My husband and I went broke while we were there. It's crazy. Everything is so much more expensive for you guys .. from food to gas .. rent.. Everything! I don't blame you for thinking about moving. Are you coming to the east coast?

We're looking at Colorado - we are going there for a few days next week so I am pretty excited about that - it is somewhere that Jeremy has always wanted to live and neither of us have ever been there so we figured it might be worth checking out - if we love it then it looks like a sure thing ;) We wanted somewhere with four seasons (hot summer, snowy winters, changing leaves at fall etc...) and that had little or no natural disasters as living on the San Andreas fault (southern part  ) doesn't fill me with joy!!!

Never been to CO, but heard it is beautifulllll ... 4 seasons, huh? I've always lived with 4 season myself (in south Brazil, where it gets very cold in the winter, and also very hot in the summer - believe it or not!) and Boston where I'm sure you know ... Now living in FL for the first time, we'll see how I'll feel. I am not a big fan of the cold myself, but I do enjoy the four seasons. I might miss it .. or not! :) I don't know. We'll see how I feel when I go home for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Btw, you'll get you approvals soon ... Don't get discouraged.

Joey77 - Yes, it's normal for the EAD and AP to show no progress, and the only one being touched is the I-485. This is exactly what happened to me after my RFE. My EAD and AP were not touched since 9/4 when it was first sent to the USCIS. So the only time when they changed was the final approval. Hang in there. It sucks to get an RFE, but once case process resumes, things will move forward, don't worry!!

No news yet on my EAD and AP (and yes I have the interview appointment already).

I checked on my son's status, and guess what, his EAD and AP are both approved and are in production already! And to think that there was an RFE on his papers. Just ironic for me though that his EAD is approved already when I am the one really in need of it! We only got one for him for SSN purposes. Oh well, im still glad his case is moving.

Right. So apparently I've been tracking someone else's EAD online. I guess I put in one number off from our real one....so whoever has that particular case number should be receiving their EAD soon.....

Still can't find the AP online yet. All our cases were received on August 6 and P's Biometrics was on 9/10.

Really hope something comes up soon.....
