It would be interesting to read a report but withdrawing the affidavit of support is not an option when the immigrant already has a green card.

Excuse me for being dumb..

Op says hubby came feb 08, 9 months ago, so what he has is his conditional green card right?

They would have to remove conditions 90days to their second year anniversary?

If she wants to opt out of the affidavit of support she can except the beneficiary already has 10years green card.

so please help me understand so i wont make such mistakes when responding next time.

The affidavit of support applies with the 2 year GC, not just the 10 year. It isn't easy to back out no matter which GC your husband/wife has.

The affidavit of support applies with the 2 year GC, not just the 10 year. It isn't easy to back out no matter which GC your husband/wife has.

Thanks i see, so you can only withdraw the affidavit of support before the green card is granted, when it has you only have to wait it out. Hmmm, i see why a lot gets stuck with the affidavit of support thing. Funny how uscis makes you marry within only 90days but let you get stuck with the decision and outcome of that marriage for 10yrs!!!
