Some of the dreams are deception by the bad spirit and trying to poison your mind to think every now and then. so if ever you dream a bad dreams again, you have to pray right away. use the precious blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse your mind and heart. so that way you can sleep well.

I've always thought people who try to "interpret" dreams are full of #######. They'll say something like: "If you had a dream about climbing a mountain, you're worried about financial issues and/or fear shellfish."

Yeah, okay. You know what? Even Freud said that "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." In other words, there might not be a whole lot to your dream except your mind having a little fun.

Someone had recently sent me an article about dreams which I thought was interesting. I'm not 100% convinced it's one reason why we dream, but it made me think.

It's a bit of a long article, but I thought well-worth it. The author suggests that we have nightmares to help "train" us for when we are faced with actual emergency situations.

Its just your brains making sense of all the idiocy we go through on a daily basis. Specially when we don't fulfill what we intend to complete any given day. Avoid heavy meals close to bedtime... that's inviting an overabundance of nutrients for rapid and high frequency neurotransmission... and more vivid nightmares.

i was 1 month pregnant on my dream last night... and i really want my belly to be very big like 9 months pregnant.... it was reallly weird.. hahaahhaha... i was laughing when i woke up.. crazy dream...

No idea why, but I've had the old, "cleaning the rain gutters on a ladder, and falling backwards onto a huge solid steel spike (always placed right behind me) that goes clean through me" dream. Not in a while, but it was re-occurring for many years.

Dreams are formed by conscious sensations formed during your waking a hours that can either be positive or negative conscious sensations where they are released in a twisted manner by your subconscious mind in your sleep when waking up. As a child, had terrible nightmares as was force to go to a parochial school with constant talk about hell and damnation, as I grew older, did my own research and concluded I was exposed to plenty of BS. Would read positive things at night and my dreams shifted to all positive ones.

Learned when faced with major engineering challenges, to really focus and think hard about these problems before going to sleep, would have a dream with the solution, but would have to get up and write it down before those thoughts disappeared. Ha, got 22 patents that way. Also works in dealing with family and other problems trying to seek a positive solution or whether I really want to buy that new house, car, boat, or whatever, but takes deep focus before falling asleep. Always had positive dreams about my wife to be and still positive, she appears in my dreams frequently.

Watching a horror movie can lead to bad dreams, unless you analyze how stupid some of these movies are. But if you are having terrible dreams at night, time to do something about your waking hours, your dreams are a cumulation of your waking hours.
