hi all, im a british citizen and my fiancee is the US citizen i am filling in the forms for her and i came across a few problems!

i was filling the I-129f on my pc and i came across some problems witht the forms! when i write where i live at the momment it oesnt it into the box. i live in weston-super-mare, i can write as far as the weston-super- ma.... so would it be ok to fill the rest of it in with a pen???? is it ok to have it half printed and half pen! for example

or should i abriviate it to W-s-M as in other boxes it does fit so the person reading the form can put two and two together and work it out! that W-S-M meand Weston-super-mare!!

another problem i have is that my fiancee lost touch with her father when she was about 7 so she doesnt know where he is now or where he was born,so when i fill in the G325a for her should i just put UNKNOWN or should i use her step father ? when it asks for birth place and residency !!!

also my fiancee is thinking of changing her job if we send the Petition off and she changes her job will it affect the pettition as we did not state the new job on the G325 a ( her current employer would of changed)

hmm..i see what youre saying cos i ran in that same problem..im not sure if theres particular solution to that, but i just simply print legibly all the info in I-129F and used my PC for all other forms..i figured its better to complete everything than trying to unified all the forms by typing it through PC

...hope this provide you some peace of mind-peace out!

You can order the forms by mail and fill them out by hand. They are free and usually once you place your order online, it only takes about a week for them to arrive.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I wrote in a few boxes with the rest type because I missed them originally. I can't see it being a problem. We haven't been approved yet so I can't say for sure, but I'm not worried.

As for her job, just put her current job - if it changes I don't think it matters. I'm sure it happens all the time.

I have the same problem. I live in Cambridgeshire which won't fit. Also the year in which I moved into my house won't fit either (?) so I just left them blank and wrote them in neatly by hand.

As for her dads' info ask her to look on her birth certificate. My fiancée dads place of birth and age are on there.

as for his current residences I'm not sure perhaps an extra peice of paper explaining why she doesn't know?
