I received absolutely nada. I checked online every day like a crazy girl, and also no emails came in and no touches. I am not sure about that system!!

Dear All,

I have just become a member, but I want to thank you all because I have been a frequent guest, and reading the posts and watching the time line has given me a lot of reassurance and hope during the waiting.

I want to share my time line cos I hope it will give similar hope to others.

Posted I-751 to CSC thru lawyer 29th Sept 2008

No invitation for biometrics, so I was getting very worried. Thanks to this forum, I realised that I was way behind, but my lawyer would not agree to call before 3 months were up. Anyway, she called in the first week of Jan 2009. We were told that my application had been "missed' somehow, but that they had located it now and put it at the bottom of the pile, and I should get the invitation for biometrics within 3 months! Whew!

Within a week I got the letter, and was fingerprinted etc on 19th Jan

Then deafening silence.

On 2nd March I completed the 6 months waiting, so following the advice of the case stus site, I called uscis on 9thMarch.

I got a kid who said it will take time cos we are processing June applications. I pointed out that the site says 6 months, so he says Oh sorry! the site is all out of date. You need to wait at least 6 months.

On 11th March I got the letter saying 'Congratulations!!! Your card has been ordered."

I have written in so much detail, just to reassure you guys who are still waiting,that inspite of what case status says, inspite of the response or lack of it from the 800 #, they are working on your case, and your day will come too.
