WHICH DO YOU PREFER VSC OR CSC? AND WHY?

If my son had filed a K-1, and been able to file in Vermont back in November his wife would have have probably been here already for a couple of months. As it was, they got married, filed for a K-3 and waited 2 1/2 months for an NOA 1 for the I-130 from California. They waited 5 1/2 months total for the approval of both petitions. Their case was simple with perfect paperwork. My DIL started to think he was holding out on her!

Bottom line: It changes continually.

I read a lot of complains about the service centers. All I could hope for is that both Service Centers would work faster so that all of us here will finally be with our spouses at the soonest..

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

It depends. When I started this journey VSC was approving the cases left and right and now it is CSC that is approving quickly. I really can't say one or the other. Both are doing much better then a couple of months back with all the backlog. I hope they both can keep approving cases fast for everyone waiting. Good luck for everyone waiting.

Which do I like better hmmm

Lets look at some stats

VSC-(Had my file since December 12th 2007- to August 12th 2008, 0 touches on my case)

CSC-(Had my file for 2 days, 2 touches)

I'll let you decide which one is better.

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

6 months ago, CSC was slow.

Now it's VSC.

6 months from now, it'll be CSC again.

Get the picture?

and that sequence changes depending on what visa or part of the process you are looking at

Like others have said, where you file is dependant on where you live. You don't have a choice. Sorry.

IT'S UNCERTAIN... RIGHT NOW CSC IS WORKING FASTER BECAUSE THEY HIRED THE DOUBLE OF STAFF.... BUT WE NEVER NOW FOR HOW LONG!!!!

Hmm, I guess CSC and VSC is being mandated just like a pendulum...

alright... VSC was working faster, all of a sudden, CSC is now processing faster...

>Hey you people in VSC, you are being called up in CSC, you have some jobs to do there.

>Alright!, later VSC.. soon.
