I haven't gotten a chance to start a daily thread in forever! So since I can't seem to fall asleep, I thought I'd jump at the opportunity. :)

I hate starting out the week on only a few hours of sleep! Hope all of your Mondays got off to a better start than mine!

good morning!

what an adventurous day for me yesterday, we took the kids paddleboating, we're having alot of fun and then here we are out in the middle of no man's land and the chain comes off the paddleboat  i'm ready to call the coastgaurd to come to our rescue...lol but my husband refused to make the 911 call...lol and took matters into his own hands and was able to put the chain back on the boat-wooh what a relief that was! after we got back to shore and complained to the staff about the ordeal they gave us a free pass for next time :)

Hello ladies it's been a while. I know that some of you have already seen my latest news and post, but I just want to thank you all personaly here because the MENA sisters have been my back bone support for the past 2 years that my hubby and I have been waiting for our approval. Many of you have been with me through this since the begening and many of you are new and I don't know some of the newbees very well, but non the less you have all been here every time that I came and went and needed to vent and cry, and ask why why why. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart. It feels like a dream come true. It happened when we least expected it to. Just like falling in love, right when you least expect it, it smacks in the face. It just feels nice to know that one of our applications has moved on and at least we are now at NVC!!!

Happy Moanday, everyone.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

This is certainly one for the record book! I am soooo glad that there was finally a positive resolution. Here's to a fast and speedy passage through NVC and the consulate. (F)

Hope all of your Mondays got off to a better start than mine!

Mine is great so far, but idir has 2-3 hours of dental surgery ahead of him this monday.

The weekend was way too short!

I have my thyroid scans today and tomorrow......keeping my fingers crossed nothing lights up on the scan and hoping whoever decides to read the tests can get their butts in gear so I will know whats going on before the end of the week.

I picked the first tomatos from our garden yesterday.......which is a big deal considering every time I've planted anything I kill it! LOL!

Have a great Monday everyone!

Amy, im stinkin jealous, we were still having frost over night not too long ago, so our tomatoes didnt get planted til mid may, which means we wont have tomatoes to pick until im hoping mid july...i cant wait!! I hate buying tomotoes from the store. especially since my cherry tomatoes are like 4$ for a small baby pack of them...GOOD LUCK TODAY, ILL BE THINKING ABOUT YA

i have ALOT to do today...bank, babies r us, clean my house, grocery shop, laundry, SHERLOCKS to see jackie, iron my clothes for work for the week(im too cheap to pay the cleaners!) i probably wont even get half of it done, but, ill stay optimistic...my next day off after today isnt until next monday, so i will not have much time this week...

Well at least yours is good, that's all that matters!

I kid, I kid. I hope all goes well and I hope they give him some great meds!

Well done, Amy. I know exactly what you mean. I'm like the Grim Reaper of the plant world.
