I recently submitted evidence that was requested through an RFE (I had missed one sponsor form when I submitted my I-485, I-765, I-130 package). It was delieverd last (Saturday), but I still have not seen any changes to my "last updated" section in my online portfolio. Does anyone know how long it will take for them to process the form (or atleast attach it to the rest of my file)? I am assume that they would atleast "touch" my I-485. Also, how long after they start "processing" your application do you get an interview?

Thanks!

I haven't seen any changes on my online portfolio sind March and there have definetely been letters sent to me. Sometimes they don't update it so don't rely on the online status too much. Unfortunately, calling the information line won't help you much either cause all these people do is read from a computer which basically tells them the same things that your very own computer tells you.

I mailed my RFE last Saturday and they updated my online file Thursday...This was written...

"On May 17, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 120 and 180 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case."

I wonder how long it will take before I receive my AOS interview...

Hi, after I sent my response, my online status said that they received my additional evidence, try to call them and ask them they already received it or not, if they did, print it out and keep it for your reference. Good Luck.

They updated ours online about a week after we mailed the requested evidence.

Give it some time. I'm sure everything's fine ;)
