I-130 approved today

9 posts in this topic

Just received automatic email from USCIS stating that they approved my I-130 petitions for my wife and kid. But if any of you have followed some of my previous threads, you know I have a ex that is just doing everything in her power to drag me down and keep me from getting her over here in the first place. I am living on $230.00 per week right now because of the child and spousal that she got awarded when I had to go get my divorce finalized so I could go get married in the philppines last November.

So now, I have to really buckle down and just try to get another job and work two jobs. Kind of tough in CA right now with the economy and this gas crisis that we have going on.

I know I have a long ways to go, so the more time the better actually. I am getting a buyout from my job next Spring or Summer. So this just might be about the time all this stuff should be getting done so I can get them over here.

Communicate well with your wife so she knows what to expect when she arrives. I believe your wife is a tough cookie who can share good and bad times with you. It's not going to be easy, but it will work out with two person committed to each other.
