Interviews Scheduled By Country Order

So I noticed that India and Peru were super busy cranking out those interviews.

Do you think NVC does certain Embassy's each day during the 2nd week scheduling period? I've also noticed a trend in Jamaica interviews being given towards the end of the month rather than the 2nd week.

What are your thought? Does anyone else notice a trend?

Marlita,

I am really not sure what method they using to get these interviews scheduled. I can tell you that I really wasn't planning on calling the NVC until tonight when I woke up this morning. But as I was surfing the VJ postings I saw that a member from the Philipines had posted they got their interview. So using what I thought to be logic that alphabetically Peru comes before PI, I called and was given the gift of having our interview scheduled.

This doesn't make much logic when "J" comes before "P", and I am sure is just more infuriating, but this how the floodgates started opening this morning.

Be Well & Peace....Hope you get your interview soon,

Michael

Marlita,

You may have a point there , because we are going through islamabad and no interview date as of yet. When I seen all the interview dates coming out yesterday, I was excited thinking ( OH YES, FINALLY WE WILL HAVE AN INTERVIEW DATE)!!! But when I finally got through to NVC, No DATE and she told me something like >>>> Due to embassy compacities, you have not been scheduled for an interview date for this time.<<<<<<or something on those lines. I should know by NOW to never get overly excited for anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder how they do schedule the interviews? I wonder if there is a calander/database that they look at for each embassy and see what dates or available?

It would be nice if all the consulates would have a page for appointments to be seen. Marlita, I think you posted about India ( I think)? cause they had like, march 2008, april 2008, may 2008 & June 2008. Now that would be nice to have for all.

Well, I hope to find out today or some darn time this week, if we have an interview date for July or even August.

Best of Luck, Marlita on getting an interview date

Aisha

I think that the way NVC does it is that by the first week of the month they will let the embassy know how many people have case complete and the embassy needs to get back to them by the second week. We've been calling since ouor case complete on May 23rd but only Tuesday night did the NVC have the date for us.

I might be wrong but as long as I have a date I'm happy. All the best for the rest!!

Aisha

I Called them late last night bout 11pm EDT. No interview and the lady gave me tha same schpill about "unfortuantely June is all done scheduling, and this week they are doing July....." I could tell she was just reading a piece of paper. So then I asked if she was able to see just how many people are in line infront of me waiting for interview at Jamaica...she said does not have that info. basically she gave me no hope. And knowing that there are VJ'ers with cse complete from April still waiting for Jamaica kills me! What i dont understand is...in Kingston if you go K1 or K3 the embassy schedules you...so essentially those people get ahead of all the CR1/IR1 filers cause NVC schedules those. its so unorganized. I wish they would just tell me when the date is. I need to schedule plane tickets time off work...etc. And plane tickets are so expensive if you buy them close to the date of travel.

I have seen some of the VJ'rs that are going through ISL and I noticed this moring, while taking a loook at their timelines........

most of them were K3 and there was only 1 CR1/IR1 ( I didn't check all the cases, just the ones that said they have an interview date now for July) so what is up with that. Also the ones that have interview dates, their cases were completed after ours, so that makes me a bit upset at how NVC handles the interview processing.

Also, I called early this morning for an interview date, but one has not been given. So, I wonder should I call this evening or just wait till tomorrow?? I mean , I don't want to call ""tooo Much"""" .........IDK

If we DO NOT have an interview date scheduled this week...........I will be very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been waiting over a year ( as others here) and I think we have done our time, so schedule us already :ranting:

Congrats on your interview! I know your excited. I am hoping for a date in July still. If we dont get one, I will just go to visit in July and then my hubby will have to do interview without me. Its always harder when the spouse is not at interview so I really wanted to be there. Good luck to you!

There are two VJ members from Jamaica who had their cases completed in April and are still waiting on an interview date. I don't understand what is going on with the embassy in Kingston.
