It has been 126 days since my NOA for AOS. I haven't had a touch since they last received my RFE. Is there anyone who has a similar NOA date as me????? I am totally starting to freak out and if there is someone else waiting.. it will give me some peace of mind that I am not alone...........

Also, Is there something I can do to inquiry about my case??? do they have a telephone line? or should I send out a letter? Please advise. I am starting to feel desperate. thanks.

I waited over 300 days after the NOA to get the interview notice. It can take a while to get anything, depending on your case and local office.

You can check some timelines here (enter your local office) http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php?cfl=

and go on the USCIS website as well for processing times of your local office to get a better idea of what to expect https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp.

Oh and you should also check the January filers thread.

it seems like AOS approvals take a lot longer for K-3ers than they do for K-1ers. Does anybody know why this is? I really don't understand why. I sure hope I hear something soon as both my visa and EAD expire in October. I really don't want to apply for another EAD, but it may be worth it. I really cannot lose my job. But what a waste of money that would be if I applied for another one and then got my greencard in time. Ugh, I really don't know what to do.

neel06,

hi there ! me too ... I am still waiting ... though I think my application is still under normal processing time. seems that it will take a bit long for applicants in California to get the whole process done.

Btw, I still cant check my AOS status online, so I went to infopass this morning to inquire my application. The person there said that my AOS package is still in Chicago and they cant help me get the status online. o well .... what I can do is just WAIT !

good luck to you !!
