No..but its common..that after they ordered your card it will order it again..wait till it changes to "APPROVAL NOTICE SENT" then it will arrive shortly. Congrats again :thumbs:

IT'S HERE!!!

It came in the mail today, even though I just got notice last week that the letter had gone out and the card should get mailed out within 60 days.

This was so unexpected, it must have gone out at the same time as the letter, though my case status only mentioned the letter and that the card would be later. When my hubby pointed it out when I was rushing out the door going back to work after dinner, I squealed and jumped up and down and kissed him a lot, but now I'm amazed.

I'm just kinda in shock. It's hard to convince my innards that I don't have to worry about this malarky for the next two years.

Screwed up my interview date, given NOVEMBER, fixed, promised Dec or Jan

06/02/2008: Interview date, medical now expired! APPROVED!

23/01/2008: New Medical done, WHERE THE @#$%! IS IT, DID THE MAILMAN LOSE IT?! (It arrived 30 min after I left for MTL, 1 week overdue. KISS MY LEFT FOOT, AFTER IT'S BEEN WEDGED UP YOUR HINEY AND LOST IT'S STILETTO, CANADA POST!)

14/02/2008: VISA IN HAND!!

18/05/2008: POE - Harassed by ignorant and incompetent Customs Official who grilled me until I answered that the reason why I broke up w/ my Ex was not to date my USC but b/c he was "impotent from a porn addiction". He also insulted my husband's motives for talking to me, dismissed our 2 years together as "not enough to get married", and otherwise trotted out the Spanish Inquisition.

22/05/2008: Ceremony of cohabitation (Legally allowed to get bizz-ay!)

AOS/AP/EAD

02/07/2008: Filed for AOS/AP/EAD

14/07/2008: Received NOA1

09/09/2008: Transferred to CSC

29/09/2008: EAD arrives in mail w/out notice, AP following week

18/11/2008: Email notice letter has gone out, card ETA: 60 days

25/11/2008: GC arrives in mail! TWO YEARS OF RED-TAPE FREEDOM! WOOT!

Woooo !! Congratulations for all the green cards, work authorization and interview letter received ! That's great news !!!

On my side, I just finished my first contract in the industry and it was awesome ! I made a couple of great industry contacts and got some $ at the same time !

It will also allow me to start the 1/6 part of an online program i really wanted to do in January while working on perhaps my second contract !

I wish I would get that interview letter soon !

06/28/2008 Married my husband

07/03/2008 Update my social security card

07/19/2008 AOS, EAD, AP mailed to Chicago lock box

07/21/2008 AOS, EAD, AP were received

07/28/2008 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP

08/04/2008 Biometric appointment letter arrived

08/15/2008 Biometric at Santa Ana office

10/21/2008 No update since biometric- contacted a local congressman, the ombudsman

10/22/2008 Was able to do service request

10/23/2008 EAD was approved

10/24/2008 AOS interview letter arrived

11/26/2008 Renew my State ID

12/10/2008 AOS interview approved right away

I have not been here for a long time; actually after the first RFE we got a second one and even thought it was a minor detail about translation it took more than 2 months to have things back on track.

Finally I got my EAD Card approved today!

2007/07/16 - I -130 RFE email waiting for the letter.

2007/09/18 - They sent a new letter as we did not get the first one ...... praying to get it as soon as possible !! Please.

2007/09/29 - RFE Docs arrived there ... nightmare over !

After a while, I got my appointment letter. We're scheduled to go on January 27th. So nervous! I was hoping we'd get transferred to CSC. However, it's good everything was fine and we finally got some news! Good luck to us all!

Hi all,

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Congrats to all who got their RAD and AP and interview letters and goof luck to those who will be interviwed soon.

I have a little news to share. We have recieved a second letter from USCIS to tell us that our new interview date is 1/22/09. Our original interview date was 12/18/08 but we recieved a letter from them telling us that due to unforseen circumstances, our interview has been cancelled and will let us know of a new date in a seperate letter.

The VJ friends here advised us to still show up to our original appointment date, which I think I will do but not sure if it is a good idea especially adter reciving this letter today about the new date.

Please share your thoughts and may be esperience dealing with similar situation.
