Yesterday I finally had my road test .. they accommodate me even I have not made an appointment. The instructor was very nice and explained things to me before we started the test. we did the test most at the parking lot and even i was so nervous and nearly knock one cone on backing I still passed I did good though in parallel parking :dance: :dance: :dance: . Yehey...

God is Great .. God is good... all the time..

Congratulations! I've done that test - know that parking lot - and those cones are ridiculous! They have them set up and you are supposed to parallel park between them - and it's impossible even to see where they are, so you are in effect parallel parking blind, trying to 'guess' where the cones are between which you need to manouever! Anyway, well done. So, now you get to enjoy the Atlanta traffic:-).

Thank you Kathryn... Atlanta traffic is terrible.. We live in NE Ga. Yesterday while driving home from SAM's Gainesville a police car was in our tail and have his sirens on too close that my husband was freaking out what happen .. I just got my license and there was a police car only to find out after trying to pull over on the other side he just speed up to respond to call maybe.. :whistle:

yeah, that is always a nervous sight - and such a relief when you realize it isn't you they are after, hehehe. We are south of Atlanta just off of I-75 so get to experience Atlanta traffic fairly regularly. I try to take the backroads whenever I can just because they are less hectic and more interesting.

Thanks Mina. I am glad this is over with since my husband has to take 2 days for me ... In the future if I need to go somewhere I could then drive alone. Though I still have to practice more with my Hubby around ..

yeah this true .. it is still problem since gas is getting higher everyday plus I am not working yet...so better to stay home than driving around..I am just glad this part is over for now. Thank you guys if I am driving I will be driving defensively.
