hey fellow AOSers!

I am just wondering at what point you should schedule and infopass appt to inquire about AOS progress?? I know some people wait a very long time....years even, but many of the March AOS filers are already receiving green cards in the mail - granted all of those were lucky enough to be transferred to CSC and we were not transferred. So, can anyone offer any timeline help if you were not transferred as to when you should start following up on AOS?? its been 90 days since filing for us at this point.

thanks for any input

Sara

If you were not transfered then you probably will be doing an interview at your field office.

Seattle WA is currently processing I-485's that were filed July last year, so you need to give it some time.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I think Seattle is very slow right now. We were stuck in the name check until March. Our case has now been sitting on an adjudicator's desk since March 14th. We were told in late April that we would hear within 3 months.

I think it's just Seattle. I looked at the timelines and it has gotten slower in the past 6 months.

Summer 2001--we met in Manzanillo, Mexico

10/02--129F submitted (We had 1 RFE)

7/03--Interview in Ciudad Juarez

2/15/04--Married

4/2/04--AOS submitted

8/23/04--Interview in Chula Vista, CA (approved pending name check)

5 EADs, 3 APs, multiple Senators' inquiries and infopass appts, 2 AOS biometrics,

and one move to Seattle later...

3/3/08--AOS Biometrics renewal in Seattle

6/9/08--10 year green card arrived in the mail. My husband is no longer in immigration limbo and is a realio, trulio permanent resident! It says he's been a resident since 04/17/2008.

If it makes you feel any better, i file in February and still haven't got anything. My local office is also Seattle, WA.

AOS Approved on 10-17-08 (details in profile)

Removal of Conditions on 07-19-10

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.
