Jean sounds like you got the good news you needed to hear. Congrats.

Kml was hoping you had your call? Hang on there the unknown is the hardest part. I am sure you will be blessed soon.

Angel have a great vacation and honeymoon.

Everyone else have a good day and it is big big storms here this am. So I cannot work in the yard as planned. Poor me. Hahahaha And raing too hard for the grocery store for now. Will see how the rest of the day goes.

Take care and have a good Wednesday, ya'll,

Mary,

It sounds like a lovely day to unplug with a book or a movie and just be on cloud nine. You deserve it.

Another day! It's sooooo flipping hot here and I am uncomfortable almost every minute of the day. I'm hot blooded by nature so this has just added to my natural thermostat. Amr says we are going to look for another flat with air condition because........................I found out yesterday I'm pregnant! So now I REALLY want that visa so we can go home. Thank God a friend of mine I actually met on VJ, her man's sisters is an OB/GYN and he called her and she will do all my prenatal care till Amr receives his visa. Where the heck has Amy been anyway? Anyone heard from her?

Congratulations to both you! Nice souvenier to bring back from Egypt... haha.

I think Amy is still around.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... just_waiting... I wish that I had a magical ability to just give you the answer to your prayers... for your habibi to be with you with a VISA... i know the frustration... aggravation... the anxiety and allllllllllllll of the other emotions that just overwhelm you and drain you... i am praying for you... i hurt for you... and if you ever need me... all you have to do is PM me... my yahoo messenger is peaches_31533_2000 ... your time WILL come...

*hugs*

kml... have you tried to call or email the embassy? man, i am cheering you on... wishing you had an answer soon! and of course... an APPROVED answer with a VISA!

angel... i hope that you have a wonderful vacation time... relaxing... i'm envious!!! it would be a vacation to me to grab a kiddie pool at walmart... put it in the back yard... fill it with water... and just lay in it... lol

Thank you, Lynne. NOW DON'T YOU MAKE ME CRY AGAIN!!! Lol. You know, its amazing to me to watch how the mind works under extreme stress. Yesterday when the woman said it could take up to one year all my hope went *poof* before I could even catch it with logic. Now this morning the Embassy says "we will process the case shortly," and I feel all warm and fuzzy. It's stupid. I'm laughing at myself. I know that blanket statement very well now. I can even translate it for you... "Dear Madam, PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF GOD STOP EMAILING US NOW AND GO AWAY!!!" But I'll buy it. Even if I know it's twaddle. There is a lot to be said for "ignorance is bliss". I am going to crawl back into ignorance and leave the rest to god.

I'm having a lovey easy day at work so far. I needed it. So you guys are stuck with my blah blah today. Ha ha.

jw... i so very well know those days... the processes may be a tad different, but the emotions are allllllll the same... it is always good to know that there is "someone" on our side... whether it is friends/family in real life... or friends here on VJ... we are here for you... we love you... and i don't say that loosely... i know how just reading your ladies' experience... thoughts.. frustrations... it has helped me... so much... i feel we are a family... we may bicker... we may disagree... but ultimately at the end of the day, i am genuinely wishing and praying for the best for all of you ladies...

no... no more crying... take today as it is... as alllllllllllll GOOD... revel in it... soak it up... these days sometimes don't come often enough...

*hugs*

Lynne

Wow, I can't believe all the news this morning. I'm home for lunch and the rest of the day. I woke up in the middle of the night last night and got a sinus headache and couldn't go back to sleep. I went in at lunchtime and asked the boss if I could take the rest of the day off to come home and go to bed. SO, I'm just catching up here and then I'm going to go crash.

Abdel and I played tennis last night and I swear the man is going to get me in shape in no time. He's better than a personal trainer even. I'm hurting all over right now, and he wants to go play tonight too! I hope it keeps raining so we can't go and I can get some downtime. I know that sounds awful, but my body just isn't used to this.
