My dear VJ'ers,

I am happy to inform that after more than 8 months, VSC decided to approve my petitions. Both I-130 and I-129F are approved, and at the same time. I had signed up for email alerts and today morning at 5:30am ET, I got 2 emails from USCIS, one each for I-130 and I-129F. Both the petitions were approved yesterday. The information is also updated online. My 'touch' history can be seen in my signature.

I want to thank my fellow VJ'ers for the implicit and explicit support I got during the long, tiring, and frustrating journey with USCIS. My heart and prayers are with everyone and their loved ones waiting on USCIS.

Best regards,

hurryup

ah...VSC showing some action finally for the K3s...I got a touch on 5/30 and now this approval. I hope the pattern continues.

I am curious...did you get 'touched' prior to approval? Or was it just the e-mail notifying you of the approval?

Congratulations Hurryup! Same thing happened to us at Vermont about a week and a half ago. We had been waiting a long time too - our petitions must have been filed close together. Enjoy the stress release that the approval is and get your documents ready for the next step. Even though we are K3 I am getting everything ready that is needed for the I-130 as processing of this seems pretty quick at NVC if you follow lotofpatience steps posted on this site.

Good luck and great to see approvals (OF ANY VISA PETITION)!!!!!

Congratulations!! That's is great!

It seems we're about to see some changes in Vermont's k3 processing time... I know VJ is only a fraction of the total cases they handle but it is a good indicative. I do hope they really start to process k3s faster!!!

When will be my turn??? hehehe
