On his way to the airport

Matt is on his way to the airport. He's hoping to stop at the cemetary first to say goodbye to his grandfather. I had one last quick phone call, which has left me kind of sad because he sounded sad, and I'm not there to hug him and tell him it's going to be ok. Well, I *tried* to tell him it will be ok- I wasn't entirely sure which part he was sad about, so told him his grandfather will always be with him, whether or not he can visit the cemetary, and that we can have a garden at our house where he can spend time thinking about his grandfather (he was a big gardener). And I told him to remember that his parents and grandparents are going to be here in about a month. It's just hard to know he's sad and there's nothing I can do because he needed to get going, so it was only a 5 minute phone call...

But I am also happy because this means he'll be here in about 26 hours! 5 months of waiting for the K1, 3 of those months apart, and now it's getting down to the finish line...just hope the weather cooperates, so his flight is able to have a smooth landing- scattered storms predicted.

And then, once he's here- I am kidnapping him to Bemidji and Lake Itasca for the weekend!! :D(L)

 oh how I remember that day....I didn't sleep all night....We were apart 10 months.. :crying:

I cried tears of happiness when Seyhan walked thru those doors at the airport!

time flies so fast....we celebrated our 1st anniversary last month!

Never forget that your fiance is leaving everything behind to be with you...have patience :innocent: while he gets adjusted and just enjoy every minute together!!! There will be times that he will miss home, and thats normal....Best of luck to you and Matt on a wonderful future together!!!! :luv:
