I just received my permanent resident card today, is it the same thing that the green card?

i'm surprised i thought that it was a green paper

Yes, you should make infopass appt since you're past 90 days or maybe try to call first to find out your EAD status since sometimes they don't update EAD status online. Good luck

Hi ! Nice to have you back it was weird because yourself, together with some of us, used to be one of the daily people that would post and you wanished all of a sudden but you obviously have good reasons for that

I called myself uscis for my EAD as It;s been over 90 days and they put a service request on it...I have to wait 45 days now until I can call them again..the funny thing is that we have our interview in 44 days..hehe

Received the email from CRIS stating that the welcome letter has been sent. Wow, that was fast.

thanks for the welcome back yeah i was busy the past 2 weeks, but since today, back to normal...

that's funny, at least you have interview schedule now.

I will call USCIS too and ask for expedite for my EAD, oh my... waiting is tiresome

I expect to receive it before November, since I am going to Swiss then, yet so far haven't received a good news

I expect to receive it before November, since I am going to Swiss then, yet so far haven't received a good news

I can't recall the users name, but a June filer had posted they had an interview & approval mid-September. There was another June filer with an interview scheduled the end of September timeframe.

I think those were the earliest NON-CSC approvals and interview dates posted. There have been a handful of June filers (myself included - yay!) who posted Interview dates in October and November. Hopefully yours will arrive soon. Best of luck!

Hi folks,

I'm so glad. Interview was scheduled to November 19th.

Received letter today. Got a standard USCIS notification format and an extra piece of paper saying that if you have criminal issues, bring an explanation. I guess this is related to criminal issues that might happen between today and the day of the interview. Any comments? Any one who received the interview letter to comment please? Also the letter says initial interview ... the wording initial is standard?
