I'm having trouble filling out the forms for our k1 visa petition, my fiance is the applicant and usc, when it comes to the g-325a form for myself, am I the applicant or is my fiance? It seems to be more logical that I am the applicant and they would want to know all the information about me but it's the questions about where I have worked and lived in the states that's confusing me as I haven't worked or lived in the states, can anyone help?

Each of you have to fill out the G-325a. The form doesn't ask for US-specific work and residence history, it is asking for your work and residence history wherever you have lived and worked the last 5 years.

Since both of you need to submit form G-325a each, the word "applicant" refers to each of you. So on his it will have his info, and on yours it will have your info.

Don't forget that this form has 4 identical pages that need to be filled out and sign.

With I-129F there is a Petitioner and a Beneficiary.

The petitioner is the US citizen who is filling out the I-129F, the Beneficiary is the foreign citizen that will eventually interview for the K-1 visa at the US Consulate.

Both US Citizen and Foreign citizen need to fill out their own 4 page G-325A. In this case both beneficiary and petitioner are applying for the visa.

Sort of. A US Citizen is never applies for a visa to enter the USA. In the case of the G325a, the word "applicant" refers to the actual party for whom the form is completed.

Further, the information provided about the applicant is the same on each page but the pages are not identical.
