is it typical fot the case to be 'touched' after biometrics, and how soon?

My case was touched next day after biometrics. Some people wrote that somehow their fingerprints were never sent from biometrics center. For I-485 I had to go twice to do biometrics (4 month later after the first). I do not remember exactly but the second biometrics NOA stated that my fingerprints were corrupted or something like it which was not true. I had CondGC interview the very next day after second biometrics and the officer said that he already has clearance for me. Got GC 3 weeks later. So, go figure...

Good question, We are also wondering what happens next...

We did our Biometrics on 3/14/08, and when I checked on the USCIS website it was touched on the same day.

However since then, no further update ! So we are somewhat concerned, I'm guessing that if we do not hear anything after three months then we may make a Infopass appointment to check things out...

What are other peoples experience on this timeline, especially if in California ?

Thanks...Any advice is appreciated...

Our case was transferred back in April, before biometrics, and we haven't had a touch since then, even though we had biometrics last week. I sure hope we don't have to redo biometrics, although the people there are really nice so I guess it wouldn't be terrible, just a pain and expense to have to repeat.

Thanks for all of the responses. I see that most people's cases do get 'touched.'

Grrr, my case has not been touched even though it's now been a week since biometrics. Does this mean anything?

Case received and pending 4/07/08.

Biometrics 5/07/08.

Oddly enough haven't been transferred out of TSC yet either (at least not told if we have been)

Still no touch after bio.. or before for that matter. Only correspondence we've seen was the biometrics appointment letter.

No touch for me after Biometrics, which was last Saturday. But I'm not worried. I have set it in my head that this is going to be a loooooooong wait and will take at least 12 months, so in about a year if I see no progress, then I'll start to worry.

I had my biometrics more than 3 months ago (Feb 7) but my case was never "touched", neither before or after bio, and the USCIS website shows the same info for 4 months: "On January 14, 2008, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. bla...bla...bla"

Should I worry for this lack of activity? What if my fingerprints/bio were lost/never sent to VSC/etc...?

About the dates, as shown on NOA for I-151 they received my application on Dec 24/07, and the NOA date is Jan 3/08. What is this Jan 14/08 date when they said they received my application (when in fact it was received in Dec)? Does anybody has this kind of mess for the dates?
