guys, when I gather all my forms and all the attachments in the package do i have to put pages or appendex on the attachements or do i just leave it the way it is?

You can use index tabs, that's what I used to make it easy for them to find all the attached docs :)

If you click on the Guides here at VJ, there is an example of a cover letter.

You can totally adjust this to customize to your own petition order.

:)

Good luck to you :star:

This is a pic of the center partition of our packet. The first section included a coverletter which documented all the sections to make it easy to read. I think it was just over 60 pages total (we've known each other 10 years ;))

Maybe a tad overkill for some but I put myself in the place of the adjuticator looking at the file and wanted it easy to sort through what they actually needed.

I wished someone had posted a picture of their petition as we were putting ours together, which is why i'm sharing it with you. We followed the vj guides and uscis posted instructions.

good luck!

The packet I sent was a total of 18 pages secured with a paper clip - the cover letter had the details of each document e.g. 1 - I129f 2) G325a - petitioner etc. etc. I believe in minimum paper-work (for me and for the examiners) - I don't want to kill trees if I can avoid it. Do what you feel comfortable with. Good Luck

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I made a table of contents, put everything in proper order, and bond it all with an ACCO fastener at the top. I think it made for a professional looking package that is easily disassembled and reassembled without worry of the papers getting lost.

We created a table of contents and used the tabbed dividers with letters on them so that everything was really easily found.

We were told that they hate staples and such, so we used paperclips and a binder clip to hold it all together. That was it was really easy to get to everything and put it back together if necessary.
