I am thoroughly confused about the K-2 visa process. I understand the steps in which to apply for the K-1 visa, but could anyone please explain the steps in which I need to take in order to apply for the visa for my Fiancé's 5 year old daughter?

Just list her name on the I-129F as your fiancee's child for now. You'll have plenty of time (months) to research exactly how your Consulate deals with the K2.

They get a P3 from the Consulate and continue from there just like the K1 but depending on age are not required to attend the interview. They need their own passport in which to put the visa.

At petition filing stage, just list the names of children as requested on the I-129F. Really.

My son's has a K-2 Visa and me a K-1. He was 4 years old when we filed. Just list the child on the forms. As the other person said, she will need a passport for them to put the visa in. Also, she probably won't be required to attend the interview. I did not have to bring my son. I don't know if it is different in other countries, but in Canada he did not have to go.
