You Are 74% American

american3.jpg

Most times you are proud to be an American.

Though sometimes the good ole US of A makes you cringe

Still, you know there's no place better suited to be your home.

You love your freedom and no one's going to take it away from you!

How American Are You?

http://www.blogthings.com/howamericanareyouquiz/

This test's questions are mostly not objective...it makes being an American seem dumb or something, with the Q's they ask. Someone who does not really like the US may have made this quiz. ;) Being American should have more to do with the way you live your daily life, not your political stance. Because America is made of people with all different political views-otherwise there wouldn't be so much debate about politics. To me the test seemed very political.

I have negative thoughts about the 'proud to be american' song because they would play it to us as they punished us in Navy bootcamp back in 86. It still gives me chills. Pavlov was right.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

Well to be fair they did have questions about how you got around and levels of debt and what kind of cheese you like and where you eat out. Those are lifestyle questions. Although for the cheese question I wish they had more choices! I dislike all the choices but dislike American least. I like swiss! That would have brought my score down a notch I'm sure.

yeah true...

but isn't another part of being American is that we have lots and lots of different cheeses to choose from? Since there are people from different parts of the world who settled here, we eat many different cheeses. Sujeet never saw all these choices of cheese in India. Maybe they were somewhere but he never knew about them.

ahh I'm just rambling :star:

Yes. The quiz isn't perfect, few online quizzes are.

Maybe but still I'm not sure if that'd be accurate. I love the USA but I also love foreign cars. Honda's or Mazda's for me.:P

You Are 39% American

America: You don't love it or want to leave it.

But you wouldn't mind giving it an extreme make over.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
