O.K. so here I am a little puzzled and in need of some advice. I filed in August and I finally got my NOA1 in LATE January. It's April now and I have not heard anything else about my case. I didnt go ahead and file the 129F, I just kept things this way but am I the only one who hasn't recieved updates or letters, emails? Nada! Thanks for listening!!!!!!! I'm sure i'm not the only one who hasn't seen her hubby in 8 months :(

Wife getting anxious! 2009-4-02...recieved the call from him, then jumped up and down in circles and cried (so like me)

You need to call USCIS and make sure that the date they will consider is the actual receival date, and not the date on your NOA1

They should admit that this is the right way and correct it for you.

Even though we were approved last month and should get an interview soon, it really pisses me off to see others having to wait even longer. Don't take it sitting down. Raise some hell with your senators, house reps, or even the office of the vice president. I really hope to see some good news for you soon. Our wait time at USCIS was ridiculous, but the delays on your cases are an abuse. The only consolation I can offer is that once you get out of the grasp of USCIS, things should move much more quickly at NVC and beyond.
