It was a guess, you sound like my ex-husband, nothing wrong with that. I served in the military and was a military wife, so I have heard the same talk from others. I think you have some good points, but, in order to grow you need to listen and think about other ways to solve the world’s problems. As we all can see, America is in a mess, we are losing jobs, just in my neighborhood you can see the homes on foreclosure. Of course there is the war, where my brothers and sisters are losing their life’s everyday, for what OIL MONEY. Yes, what we are doing is not working, and trying to do the same thing is called insanity. I will always respect McCain, but as far as running this country, no, we need a complete change. McCain will just tweak the problems we already have, I know I will never change your mind, but just know it is possible to change your views, I know I sure did, but it took some time, I think it really change for me when I became sick, and learned some harsh realities of our heath care system. So no, I would never be nasty to you, you are a fellow American and you have the right to have and state your opinions. Saying that, so do other people, nobody is stupid or wrong, we just have different ways of solving some problems.

No matter he can't reform logical interpretations of what connections liberals or conservatives have beyond a very narrow scope of political reality, I don't see him as that much of an outsider. If anything, his posts here represent quite a large segment of political thought in this country- dismaying and illogical as it may seem to some of us.

I would think the Democrats should start looking at the real weakness in McCain's policies and leave out the age issue entirely. It's bogus and will be exposed. If age were really a barrier to be able to function as president then there would be an upper age limit for nominees. (Actually, there might be one, but I don't know what it is and McCain isn't over it )

Ironically enough - McCain's policy could be considered ageist - because it doesn't address how healthcare will be made affordable to older people - those most likely to have chronic conditions and problems getting insurance and coverage for those conditions.
