Does anyone know how to make a picture smaller so I can post it on this site? Everytime I try it says it is too large... what do I have to do?

If you have Photo Shop you could just resize your pics there then upload them to Photo Bucket (that's what I use).

if you have a picture system on your pc.. i have photoshop and i have my kodak picture viewer.

when i click save as i have a option to save for web.. it makes it smaller..

it will all depend on where or what program you use to view your photos. on the pc..

once you open it you should be able to save.. in different format. .. just make sure that the photos is no larger than 100 kB. and must be no bigger than 250 pixels by 250 pixels.

for me I locate the picture i want.. i right click.. get the option to open with picture viewer.. .. (second on the list) then i open photo.. then save to collection then .. i edit and click save as. jpeg and i use the save best for web..or bitmap..

attached is a smaller pic saved as a bitmap...

Or if you don't have any of that..... just open the picture using PaintBrush (do you have that?), go to save as, and save the pic in a jpg format. It'll make the pic a lot smaller!

I was wondering how you put pics on here without it being small and saying attached image?

Luckily Meriem helped me and I just sent her the picture and she made it smaller for me so now I have a picture on VJ which is so very important these days. Thanks Meriem and everyone, next time I will try it myself.
