There was something I remembered last night that I forgot to mention here. In Egypt's peace treaty with Israel one of the stipulations was that the Egyptians could only have so many military personnel on the Sinai Peninsula. Thus we have just a platoon being deployed to control an overwhelming situation. The Israeli's are exasturbating the situation by not offering the Palestinians relief.

What kind of message are we sending about Democracy when the Palestinians hold a democratic election and the elected officials, Hamas, are not recognize by Israel or the Americans?

In modern times the peace treaty signed under Sadat may need some updates when faced with the creations of a Palestinian state who are now sharing the boarder with Egypt and crossing it daily either under stealth tunnels or full out assaulting the wall and pouring through.

The Americans are exasturbating the Egyptians by threatening to cut off economic aid if they don't control their boarder. I think it's time for the Israelis, Americans, Egyptians, and Palestinians to sit down and modernize their treaties so that there maybe some reconciliation and peace in that region.

Second they are deploying a Platoon to the Egypt Gaza Borders because Hamas is threatening a repeat of the AlAreesh invasion.

gawd i hope they send more than just a platoon!

I think I would rather have had our denial than what you are going through! Best I can say is that we will pray for you both.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Me too. I can promise you I will pray for you and your husband.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
