Waiting Times - London

I just mailed the $380 fee bill to the NVC today. Can anyone tell me how long it might be before I can expect an interview in London.

I filed my I-130 a year ago now and things are really starting to drag.....

Well looking at your signature it would seem that the DCF delayed you somewhat. We were delayed by our indecision. Figuring out which visa is going to be quickest can actually delay things more than speed them up. We have not had an interview yet but we just got case complete and hopefully will get an interview in a few months i guess looking at the way things are going. Our I130 etc are in my sig and are not too far from your dates. So maybe that is a clue for you. Just try and get everything ready before you need them.

Now do you have to send that $380 before your interview with packet 3? I'm based in London, and it mentions that I need the $280 for the interview. Is that true?

With the CR1/IR1 in London there are NO fee's to pay to the Embassy!!............all fee's are payed at NVC, all you have to pay in the UK is for your medical!!

Anyone out there IR/CR1 received interview date from London consulate lately?

I am aching to see some movement. I feel like we are stuck in limbo since leaving NVC... I miss the call line case updates something terrible!!!

I got a response to email letting us know they will respond with an interview date in approx six weeks time. I am guessing they give notice so the int date may be emmm four weeks after that??? Makes me think London is slowing up, they have our file since April.

Hubby is here in June for two weeks.

Im just tired!!! LOL You been there seen it done it. I think it was when our first anniversary came around last month the realisation set in that we've had it with all the waiting!!! We are too old for all of this!!

So sad when I see others in various parts of the world waiting much longer too!

If you havent already looked.......take a read of NVC Timesavers and James Shortcuts link in my signature. This can save you a lot of time through NVC. Cant help you on London interview times.

If your husband is going to be in the UK in june, why dont you email them explaining this & that he would like to come with you to the interview, & would it be possible for you to have an interview scheduled for (insert dates)??............you may be surprised as London will try to accomodate you, thier pretty good this way!!

Oh & the 6 weeks email is just a normal responce, means nothing!!

My wife and i are not too far behind you so it would be cool if you let the board or us know when you get an interview as we will hopefully be not too far behind. I emailed London but have not yet had a reply.

I finally got an email reply which took about 2 days excluding the weekend which is not bad i guess. It was the standard 6 week email so hopefully i hear something soon.
