Originals with original petition. I believe its copies that are accepted at a later date? Such as the interview. The wait for mailing might be unfortunate, but the wait for an RFE or something to that effect could set you back further than just snail mail ;)

Originals must be submitted for the interview as well, you can use copies of the letters you sent with the I-129F, but you'll also need a new set of intent letters with a recent date (closer to the interview date) and addressed to the Local Consulate.

Eric & Teresa:

You submitted photocopies of the Letters of Intent with your I-129F and did not get an RFE for this?

No, I believe the wording of her sentence was confusing...Eric & Teresa did this and suggested it as well:

Original signed Letters of Intent with I-129F

Photocopies of ^^^ sent to fiance for interview packet gathering

"New" signed letters of intent once the interview staged is reached

Correct me if needed, but I think thats what she was saying.

 that is exactly what I meant.

Sorry about the confusion, english is not my native language.

No, we sent originals with our I-129F package.

You can look on the RFEs Master list, if other VJers have gotten RFEs for this reason.

I would send originals if I were you. You don't want the signature to look fake or anything (which sometimes tends to happen with scanned copies)
