I keep reading where you say you were touched. Do they send you an email everytime they look at your file? if not how do you know you have been processed some more?

We create an account at USCIS case status online page, and then everytime they touch our petition the last update date changes, so we know they looked at our case, meaning we were touched.

Thanks, I opened the account and checked on my status. "touched" on Saturday 4/29!! I can't believe anyone in Vermont is working on Saturday even though i am important. lol

USCIS apparently works on Saturdays, a lot of us have been 'touched' on Saturdays.

4/06/09: Mailed I-751 to VSC by Express mail

4/07/09: Received by VSC

4/17/09: Check clearance.

4/20/09: NOA1 received in mail (receipt date: 4/08/09)

4/30/09: Biometric appt. letter received (appt. on May 15th)

5/05/09: Walk-in biometric done

9/02/09: Approval Email (touch on USCUS site)

9/03/09: Approval letter received (decision date: 8/27/09)

9/09/09: Touch, but no change in status on USCIS site.

9/11/09: Green card rec'd.
