I got an email from Cris on the 19th that my husband's EAD card is sent for production. Today I got another email saying the same thing....... has this happened to anyone. Also, on average after how many days does one receive the EAD in mail after the email from Cris.

It happens and it's normal, look at my timeline, dont worry you will be receiving the EAD card a few days after you receive the 2nd email.

05/01/08 Green Card in mailbox!!

06/05/10 Real GREEN Card RECEIVED!

01/17/13 Sent application for US Citizenship!!!

01/19/13 Arrived to Arizona Lockbox

01/24/13 Notice of Action

01/25/13 Check cashed

01/28/13 NOA received by mail and biometrics letter mailed as per uscis.gov

02/14/13 Biometrics appointment

03/18/13 In-line for inteview

Hi and congrats! so did you filed for the EAD on Jan 19th then? We filed Jan 9 and no news whatsoever. I am so nervous since the first EAD took 1.5 years to receive!

I-485 , I-765, I-130: NOA1 : 1/23/2006

Biometrics 2/23/2006

Temporary EAD given for 1 month ONLY b/c of Infopass appt: 5/1/2006

Went back to renew EAD through Infopass: EAD card was not given "due to reasons we can't disclose"

5/3/2007: Confirmation that EAD is delayed due to background checks. (started to use the senator, ombudsman and was just a royal pain in the neck)

5/30/2007: EAD production ordered (after over 400 days of waiting!!! woo hoo!)

AOS Interview: 5/12/2008!!! FINALLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7/29/2008: card production ordered...918 days..can't wait to see that card!

Howdy Neel! Long time no see! Congrats on the approval and yes it's normal. You should have your EAD card soon. Good luck with the rest of the process! :thumbs:

EAD Approval was NOT updated online. We had an infopass meeting for 3/6 and then the EAD shows up in the mail on 3/5!!!! cancelled appointment,

Next: playing the waiting game for the 2 years holding removal
