i avoid Fox and cnn and usually watch local news.. i read the internet differnet news outlets for the world news...

Even the local news isn't great IMO. They spend inordinate amounts of time covering mundane things like a car skidding off the road or a cat stuck up a tree.

As far as my patriotism is concerned... I prefer to honor the principles and not the fanatism that has skewed the meaning of freedom in this country towards the benefit of those that maintain the current state of things. "Dissent dare not show itself here or else... kind of reasoning." Sickening.

Internet news is more comprehensive - but it relies on the consumer taking the time to actively educate themselves, as it were, rather than passively relying on the TV to tell them what's going on.

Excuse me peeps but there was a time when news reporting, unbiased reporting, with objectivity was a professional standard that was strictly adhered to.

When you have yahoos like Kieth Oberman and Jack Cafferty off on rants against the Republicans all the time it certainly demonstrates bias is present.

You do not see similar behavior ob FOX news. Conservative pundits are always juxtaposed opposite a Liberal for debate.

Lately, the liberal news bias and agenda pushed by CNN MSNBC, and network news is adversely affecting the this election.

The media's decided for us that we will elect a democrat, it's just a matter of which one.

BTW, FOX news, and CNN are viewed as the most objective of the lot.
