MONTCLAIR, N.J. - Three teenage boys have been charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old special education student, in a case that has drawn parallels to a widely publicized attack nearly 20 years ago in a neighboring town.

Romal Roberts, 18, and two 16-year-olds are accused of sexually assaulting a schoolmate during school hours Thursday at Roberts' unsupervised home, Essex County Prosecutor Paula T. Dow said Tuesday. All are students at Montclair High School. The names of the 16-year-olds, who are juveniles, will not be released unless they are tried as adults.

Each is charged with 18 counts of aggravated sexual assault.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Seriously f***ed up. I think my son, assuming I had a son, would be beaten within an inch of his life if he ever did anything like that. My mom is a special education teacher at my elementary school, so I was always very close to those kids and I tend to take it personally when anyone wrongs them. They can't reasonably defend themselves and, most of the time, would never harm a person.

18 counts each?

Hang em by the nads !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Montclair High sex assault suspect pleads not guilty

Romal Roberts

The oldest of the three Montclair High School students charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old special education student with a broomstick pleaded not guilty today.

...

Roberts is an immigrant and came to the United States when he was 5. But it remains unclear where he was born.

At one point during today's hearing, public defender Regina Lynch picked up a telephone and asked Roberts his country of origin. After listening for a few moments, the judge said: "This is a question that should be answered quickly."

Roberts' second lawyer, public defender Bill Cucco interjected, "Judge, he's limited."

Velez-Lopez ordered Roberts to surrender his passport, which he said was in his parents' possession.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Man, I wish we had Singapore law's and legal process.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I wonder of that number too, but let us see if this case is comparable to Glen Ridge's:

The alleged assault bears resemblance to a 1989 attack on a 17-year-old mentally retarded girl in neighboring Glen Ridge by schoolmates. Several Glen Ridge High School athletes served prison terms after being convicted of the attack. The case was dramatized in an ABC television movie in 1999.
