For the k1 , is it any problem to get the medical before you have the NOA2?

I assume nothing is needed for the medical relating to the visa?

The medical clinic in Kiev will not do the examination until you have your KEV # issued by NVC. It takes longer typically to get an interview scheduled than the medical so there shouldn't be a concern about time.

It's true - you need that number. In Brazil it's RDJ (Rio de Janeiro) ###.

Your fiance should get her blood tests and x-ray done - and make sure she is up to date on her vaccines.

The later the medical can be postponed, the better. Reason is.... when she gets to the US and applies for AOS, the medical must be current (within one year) at time of application. Any longer and she will need to have another one.

Another thing to keep in mind is if the Ukraine Consulate/Embassy requires the vaccinations to be complete for approval of the visa, have her obtain a copy of the vaccination worksheet from the panel physician. She will need it to adjust status.

The consulate in Kiev does NOT require vaccinations for the visa... The medical clinic WILL prepare the DS-3025 if she brings in her vaccination records or has any updated during her visit. Make sure she requests a copy of it

I didn't have my KEV# when I scheduled my medical. I also didn't have it when I went for my medical. If you don't have it, it's fine. They officially require the KEV# but they'd schedule an apointment even if you don't have it. I tend to agree with the other posts though that the later you do it, the better because the medical is valid for 12 months, so the later you do it, there is more chances that you'll be able to use its results for AOS. Besides, your fiancee'll always be able to schedule a medical a day beforer the interview, it's pretty convinient! No requirement to have a vaccination record for K1 interview either.

Good luck :) !
