Hi All,

i have a checking account which serves for me as a revolving account which means i really do not have much of a balance in there most of the time. Because of this i do not want to include any of my bank statements. As far as my income i make close to 46k a year. Will that be enough? I already have my employer letter and my 4 last pay stubs and i have my tax transcripts for the last 4 years.

I also do have a savings account but i only have about 1500 not more than that for now. So will all this be enough? Could someone from Ecuador who has gone through this process write to me please. As well as anyone else! :-)

Depends on how many dependents you have....your income is more than sufficient if its just you and your fiance(e), but may not be if you have 10 kids, for example. :) Take a look at the poverty guidlines to see what is the minimum income you must have for the # of dependents you have.

As far as your documentary proof...your paystubs, employment letter and tax transcripts should be sufficient.

Good luck,

-P

As long as you are 125% over the poverty guideline, you should be fine. I would hope you have some other type of equity to show where your money goes to at the adjustment of status or whenever the next time you show your financials, I forget which step that comes into play. Good luck to you.

Bank statements are just one of many options for proof of income.

If it is just you and your Fiance, then you are better than good. If children are involved, check the tables for required income.

If your income is sufficient, and it is unless you have about a dozen kids, you can simply skip all asset related sections of the I-134. Pay stubs and tax transcripts will rule the day.
