I'm honestly think they are f*cking up on purpose.........................

Sorry to hear that...

Our petition was travelling back and forth for 2.5 months because they could not decide who the f... is suppose to deal with our papers.

At least it's in the right place now.Cheer up ;)

Are you sure you made no mistakes while filing out the required documents?

Whatever the reasons are, man I am sure sorry and that sucks dude I hope things get better as time goes on and the problem can be resolved.

Yeah everything is one hundred percent correct (though i did notice i didn't place n/a's in the areas where i answered none in the first....i will be adding those)

Basically someone was filing the package and suddenly decided it was an I 130 and to pass it to chicago lockbox. Like I said, it looks pretty obvious they did this on purpose. I was a bit afraid they'd get petty and do this actually, in the opening paragraph of my cover letter I reference their letter which was a response to my service request regarding my first missing petition. Then i say i've provided evidence of my first petition and please file my case appropriately with September 24th petitions.

I think this chicago lockbox thing was a message that their not going to anything.

Well now that i'm calmer... I've noticed that the receipt number has 130 in it so someone misread i guess and they sent it to chicago lock box?? thats whats written on the notice. But does chicago have the code MSC?

YES, Chicago is the front end receipting station for MSC

YMMV

I'm convinced some one did this on purpose now. Looking through my file I can tell someone studied my file closely. For instance they wrote on the back of my photos and on some of my evidence as well as my forms. If they had seen the file in its entirety they knew there was no I130 present. Not to mention the word fiance is on practically everything. They were about to process it in CSC as they had stamped my check. Thats another oddity. My check was for $455. If it was an AOS the fee would have been greater, if it had been a K3 the fee would be less. There is no way that they could have missed all of this.

I think they saw that it was a replacement application for a previous application and instead of doing what they should have they knowingly screwed me over. I bet they were laughing about it for hours.

I wonder if I can convince the people who matter.................

I don't think they would do it on purpose. The USCIS wasn't expecting so many petitions sent to them, so they needed to train new people very quickly to get rid of the backlog (that's what they said on their website- and that they apologize for delays and thank for cooperation). I'm just thinking...maybe someone very new to this, was reviewing your case and because of lack of experience they SCREWED UP!

I think you should fight back! And whoever is responsible for what they did to you should be punished.

This is no joke. This petition takes long freakin' enough! JEEEEZ!I feel so bad for you! :crying:
