Ugh, such a disturbing movie. I can't even say which death disturbs me more. I think the almost starved and rottened to death man with the secented car trees in the room...and the fact that his hand had been cut off to print a message to a wall...I only watched it once and found it so horrible, that I could not finish watching it. I got weak nerves and torture is just not my cup of tea.

I also can't understand how people can get their kicks out of movies like Hostel/ Saw/ Wolf Creek. I would be having nightmares for months after watching those movies!

Seven is a great movie. I can't say the same for Saw or Hostel. Saw was terrible. Cary Elwes is just a plain horrible actor. There were also HUGE holes in the plot that ruined it for me. I tried to watch Hostel II, but left about 3 minutes into it. I didn't see the beginning, just the part where the dude's wang gets cut off. There will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever be a time when I want to see that happen.

I like sadistic horror, but gore for the sake of gore does nothing for me. Give me a Rob Zombie horror any day over this new genre of shock theatre. Which reminds me, I saw the new Halloween the other day. Really good flick. Michael Myers was actually intimidating.
