I got a call from Omar today that his uncle (father's brother) was in an accident on a mobilette. He is in grave with a head injury at the moment. They are going to do an operation later today as I understand it. This is the same way his father died. I met this uncle on my most recent trip to Morocco and really liked him. His name is Said.

Thanks everyone. He has had the surgery. We are just waiting to see if it works.

And a mobilette is kind of a cross between a bicyle and motorcyle. A little bigger than a moped. Sometimes you see familes of 4 on one of those things. Wish I would have got a picture because it is a sight to behold! (they don't have the helment laws like we do, which is amazing with the way they drive and the number of those things on the street).
