2-3 months if you look at the average Immigration Timelines. Ours was 3 months.

It totally depends on the embassy you are going through. Some schedule interviews in 1-2 months and others take 3-4+ months.

I just looked at the timelines and it appears that most of the interviews in Columbia are approximately 2 months after the NOA2. One was three months after. But if your petition is at the California Service Center, it might take longer because they are taking longer to ship the documents to the National Document Center after the NOA2 is issued.

NOA2 has NOTHING to do with an interview date.. you still have to wait for the case to be sent to NVC.. then from there to your consulate.. then you gotta wait + return Packet3 before you get an interview date.

Remember, the Immigration Timelines are only averages. Time varies greatly depending on which Consulate or Embassy you're going through. For example, we went through the Consulate in Guangzhou China and we waited 5 1/2 months from NOA2 to the interview. This was typical for China at that time. If you use the Immigration Timelines you should look on the left side of the screen and select K1 Visas - Advanced View under Visa Display Options. You can then sort by country and service center to find cases more similar to your own. Still, every case is different. Those who filed the same month as we did were getting their P3's 2 to 3 weeks earlier than we did. Yet, when my wife received her interview date, it was the earliest one for people who filed the same month as us.

After your petition is approved at the USCIS, it gets sent to the NVC. This can take between 2-6 weeks. Then the NVC will assign you a case number and send it to the embassy in Bogotá. This can take another 2-6 weeks. Once the embassy receives it, they will send you packets 3 and 4, this can also take 2-6 weeks.

There's no accurate time frame and it also depends on how fast you return the documents they ask for in packet 3.
