Hi there! I am a newbie here. My case is kindda weird and I know that somebody here would have doubts and raised an eyebrow. So to speak, this is a real one. My ex-bf filed a K-1 visa year 2006 and got my fiance visa November 2006 and finally flew to US April 2007. From the time I got the visa till i went to US we have lots of misunderstanding. When i set my foot to US I called my aunt to pick me up and to stay at there place for a while till we fixed things and got married but the ex-bf is not interested anymore and so decided to end up the relationship. i stayed in the US for two months and decided to go back to the Philippines and continue my single life. One day while we were in a casino in California, my cousin introduced me to his friend and this friend is good and we were going out and he was the one with me for that month long stay. We were at the airport going back to the Philippines when he proposed. I said yes. And July 2007, he filed a petition for me to get back to US and get married. I am afraid that our situation will put doubts and be denied. What will I do? Kindly help us. Thank you!

Typically it is the USC who gets extra scrutiny on a second application. I expect that your petition will be approved without a problem but I would be prepared to answer questions come interview time

YMMV

We are on the same boat Kunek, i cant blame you not to marry your ex if u know if you will marry him its bound to fail,

as long as you didnt break any law in USA or overstayed there you will fine, having a k1 visa before will not stop you from having a new no.as long as you will prove your relationship with your fiance now is bonafide.Just tell them the truth.

WHen is your interview?

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
