Congrats Ericc, LadyNotes, GeoStefa, George: looks like things are going smoothly. Way to go...

NVC has forwarded my case last to last week. Per DHL, Consulate received the case on 19th Feb. My fiancee downloaded the forms and submitted on Feb 22nd. I going to visit her in few weeks and hoping for interview during that time, and bring her back. We had waited long enough. Let it be over....

I just called NVC and the guy said our case was sent to USEM today. I just checked the DHL website, but it doesn't show any shipments today to Manila, am I doing something wrong when checking or will they ship it tomorrow? DHL only shows 1 package sent today to Riga, Latvia. Thanks if someone knows more than me about tracking the packages.

My babe just got the letter from NVC today that was dated the 21st and said that they'd sent it to the consulate and that it would be there within the week! Does anyone know if the new case numbers from the consulate are included in that letter? We're having our interview in Vancouver but he only said that there's a VAC number on the letter, not VAN. I wonder. I guess we'll know soon enough though huh?

You aren't doing anything wrong. DHL picks it up the day after they ship it. So if they said they sent it today then it will be tomorrow it actaully ships from DHL. Still use the date they said they shipped it out as your reference date.

its the letter from NVC

I could be wrong, but it looks to me like it's the equivalent of the received date on a I-797.

hmmmmm  maybe this "priority date" has something to do with interview date at the embassy.. just a guess  meaning, even if the embassy received a case from NVC earlier than yours, you will get an early interview date bec of ur priority date?

hehehe forgive me for my curiosity.. i have nothing left to do :D

yeah Mox, everything seems to be moving at a fast pace. Now that the June/July influx has ceased, things are better. I wish it was us, but I think the future filers will see a good return on investment for the increase in fees with faster processing. We were just guilty of being associated with that group and had to suffer with them. Glad it's coming to an end.

Well supposedly my packet left CSC for NVC today. That was pretty fast!

That's good news Mox, you deserve fast after your long drawn out NOA2. I hope the rest of the process is speedy for you especially. Angela x
