I also wanted to note that the line between illegal and legal is not as stark as some would like to believe. Illegal can become legal, and vice versa--hence, my mention of some fellow VJ users having been illegal at one time. Many are forthright about this when asking questions in other threads. Gee, why aren't some of you hassling them, or better yet, reporting them?

I've wondered that myself....I've seen some of the most hardlined "go back to where you came from" types turn around and wish all the best of luck to an VJ overstayer. Hmmm, could it be perhaps that once one knows someone's story, they can have a bit of empathy.... ?? hmmmm

No such thing allowed. Humanity is not legislated nor is it particularly respected according to the flow of many around here. Those kinds of things tend to have a comeback and bite you in the ####### kind of effect when they least expect it. I only hope that whomever is doling out such treatment has twice the human sentiment they here express towards their fellow human beings.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Well, there is a difference (to me at least) with the intent of the person. To me a person that came on a valid visa, overstayed by a few months and then adjusted is way different than one that went out of his way to come in illegally in the first place.

Instead of sitting here all day every day complaining about the illegals do something about it. If you see a pack of illegals on the street corner market begging for jobs report them report the folks who are picking them up write down there license plates. :jest:
