Does anyone know if the NVC is back Logged, similar to what USCIS has been? We received are NOA2 on 12/21/07 but haven't received anything from the NVC.

Just curious, I am tired of waiting already. :crying:

Have you called the NVC to see if they have received your application yet?

I receive our NOA2 12/08/07 notice date 12/04/07, I Just got AOS fee bill and DS-3032 choice of address and agent yesterday.

does it make you feel a little better. Don't worry you'll get it soon. I thought I read a thread here before that USCIS send all approve applications once a month to NVC. Goodluck!

I'm sure they are experiencing some backlog due to the holidays and the increased number of immigrant petitions received before the rate increase but my guess is they are not as backed up as uscis was. The reason I believe this is because many of the forms filed to uscis don't ever get forwarded to the nvc...N-400 naturalization...AOS...other forms related to immigrants working, etc....I'm sure nvc is not as backed up as uscis was. Anyone agree, disagree? Why?

When should a person start calling the NVC, we were approved by the California Service Center on 12/21/2007 and I called and the machine at the NVC gave us our Case number but we haven't received any papers from the NVC yet.
