There ya go! Time for some grilled urban shrimp!

True, but you can't out of shrimp either. But, I sure like shrimp and they almost look like a dead albino cockroach.

Only curious, what is so different between one dead animal and another? Maybe a texture issue?

You can't make filet mignon out of a cockroach.

Shrimp are distant relatives of the cockroach.

Shrimp are crustaceans (like lobsters and crabs), not insects.

Insects and crustaceans may look similar, but their evolutionary histories are quite different.

shrimp eat poo

Shrimp mostly eat plankton (small drifting plants and animals, such as diatoms and other algae)

 I like my answer better why did you have to ruin it for the gullible.

Because someone might actually believe you and never eat shrimp again :)

In Colombia there is a regional ant species in Santander that is usually pan roasted and salted... and the taste is quite delicious- somewhat between roasted peanuts and semisweet chocolate. I tried a chicken recipe with this ant as a basis for a sauce that reminded me of a mexican mole sauce... good!!

In Spanish they call it Hormiga Culona... in case any of you are interested in finding a translation... specially those of you that like a certain song by a legend of pop music, Sir Mixalot...

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Well whether related as Mr. Fancypants says or not. I only remember being very young and having a look at a shrimp and thinking I'll never put that thing in my mouth. But a little risk proved quite tasty. I'd be open to the creepy crawlers too. I've learned to judge by taste over my sight.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
