This thread is actually over 2 years old...lol

About the question of the lady who wants to attend the interview with her fiance...Most consulates allow the petitioner to attend the interview with the beneficiary, although some consulates do not allow the the petitioner to go to the interview window while they run the interview... She should be ready as well for an interview for both of them either separately or together.. Good luck!

Hi to everybody here in VJ,

I just wanna say thank you and sorry for this late update...just got busy from being with my fiance and kids having a nice vacation in bohol. I just wanna share my exprience in my interview at the US Embassy last jan. 04. friday with my fiance.

everything was good except of course for the waiting period that day.

first the prescreener called our number then ask us documents actually all of the documents you have they will asked for it already and its really good to be organized but i must say it all became just a waste..but though its all good...just to have your documents complete. why wasted? because they will still asked you to take it out of its cover eventhough u r using a plastic cover for more flexibility they will still want your documents naked.hahaha they will put it on their own envelope. so o need to worry.

then he asked us to sit and wait again for our number for the finger scanning. after that we waited for an hour or so for our final interview..

our interviewer was an American Girl and she's very nice and easy. She just asked us to raised our right hands and promised to say nothing but the truth. then she asked me few questions and it was all so easy and we were all laughing at the booth. she even advised us to just picked up the visa because we told her that my fiance is goin back to US the end of this month and we are hoping to leave together. then everything was fine. now. we are just waiting for the embassy to call us so we can pick up the visa.

Im wishing you all a successful journey. Dont think of this journey as hard as it looks. Im telling you if you have all the guts all the documents they need. Then there's nothing to be bothered or worry about. Thanks and more power...

congratulation............
