They have also asked me about the names and adddresses of the close relatives like brothers , sisters and etc of both petitioner and beneficiary.... do you think they will contact and call all of the people... Which I am worried and dont want to happpen as I have eloped and ran away from home to get marrried.

No one from my side knows I am married... if they embassy calls and my folks say something bad about me... WILL I be in problems

What else have you left out? All this stuff is important. They may just want to know whether you have close relatives in the US already that you are trying to unite with through a fraudulently arranged marriage. Just be as straight forward as you can. Not telling your own family about your marriage is not going to be helpful in your quest to show bona fides. If you lied and told the interviewer something your relatives will contradict, yes big problem.

I wish i could tell what it is for an Indian guy to marry a older girl to her age...... nothing else i have left out..... i had all the stuff in my hand... except the notarise stuff which they want... she told me the Lady CO officer.. if ur wife is here she can do right away but she will have to make it and send it to you so u can submit to the VFS office.... I hope i will submitt everything in order what they want... and leave rest alll to god... i know i am not a faker or a fraud person

I'm sorry to hear about this snafu, and I hope that you and your wife will be able to quickly produce all of the materials requested by the embassy. Yes it will take time, and it'll be good to have everything all cleared up. As for telling your parents and relatives that you are married: you must do this!

I agree with the others: since your wife does not know where her ex is, but he is wanted on charges of not paying child support, then it would be good to produce court documentation of this fact. I don't think that "we don't know where he is" will be good enough.

I sent you an email but just to sum up that situation on the ex husband and whereabouts unknown.

Your wife can obtain from Child Support Division in her state that exact statement, they are a governmental agency and that should suffice. Most Support Agencies basically wait for a tax return to be filed or Drivers License renewed to locate people that are in the arrears for support. There are others way to track down people but again, that is in my email to you and if you wish to go that route, let me know.

Again, a statement from Child Support which would have a local office in her county should be more then enough ammo for this situation. Also, court documents are updated as to each year on cases that have not yielded results from default payments, meaning each year it is posted on the court case that she has with the divorce decree with children (Family Court) the attempts for Income Tax attachment through the court order.

Hey guys thanks for all the support... I am preparing paper work.. all the stuff is under way... and i readying up the paper work.. just wanted to know after they take in what I submit... for a CR1 case.. would they do it a bit faster as compared to the K visas.... I asked the VFS and they said if all is on course you will be approved in 2 days
