Chatroom on VJ

I'm just curious. Why no one uses the chatroom on VJ. It seems like it works fine but we've checked it a few times and there's never anyone there.

It seems to come and go . . . for a while there was a pretty regular crowd in there but it seems to have died off. There was a chat invitation a few weeks ago and a few of us showed up, but otherwise it is hit or miss. It might be an idea for someone to post that they are in the chatroom and invite others to join. That way you will have company.

MENA uses it for slumber parties from time to time, but we post first to let folks know something's going on. Its not much of a place to hang out all the time, really. We're too busy posting

It's not interesting for me. I prefer to read and respond to forum posts on my time and then go back to doing something else and return again later. Sort of a back and forth when it's slow thing to do. The idea of sitting there "live" just chatting is not appealing.
