Arg! Tabujet is a MALE CAT!!!

After 7 months, we just find out that Tabujet is a male cat ..when we pick them up at the farm we told the owner beforehand that we want female kitties..we rely to the owner and we didn't bother

to look really ..beside he is that furry looking and to be honest I don't know much nothing about cat I know sounds dumb but I honestly don't know and Gary didn't care what sex our cat is..Tabujet is very feminine looking, soft and fluffy ..so we didn't care..we don't take them to the vet to neutered them yet..This the first time really that I have cat all my life so I don't know the difference..

Ok you can flame me now, I deserve it..I am not a good fur-mommy.. I don't even know their sex is.. :cry:

Oh well... but nothing change the love I have for him..its just like I am like

I wonder if he do the ''things'' with my other cat. I am sure now that Bruha is a girl coz all calico is female [?]..( Now I doubt myself!! } Gary not sure also and to think he is a cat person like what he told me.

Too cute! Have you had them spayed yet? We had ours spayed just around this time (9 months).... To be sure take your female cat to a vet (to test for pregnancy)... Banfield in Petsmart is not the best service, but pretty reasonably priced.

Well if you didn't find out from his "stretching" then you'd find out when he marks his territory . At that age I'd imagine the urge to mark his territory would be starting to show up if it didn't already. Cat urine is a smell that I'll never forget after the neighbours cat thought it was a nice idea to come piss all over our laundry room

We have two cats, both male and both are fixed. The "fix" I believe is quick, easy and fairly inexpensive compared to fixing a female cat.

That's true.. although the look on our cat's face when the doc checked out his rear was kind of with the pupils getting bigger and bigger before they had to give him the "box" in order to finish their exam :lol: poor cat

Hey, it's hard to tell on a cat. But you MUST get them neutered and spayed -- it's time for that anyway. Please please please spay and neuter them soon!

Awww..that makes me feel good now.. I thought I am the only one who can't tell about their gender..

Now is deffinately the time to get him neutered. You do NOT want him spraying everywhere the house will smell sooo bad.

He is at that age now where he will spray to mark his territory, then next thing he will claim his female (Bruja) and before you know it you got more kitties than you care to take care of.

I dont know if your cats go outside, but if so then he could mate outside causing more kitty problems.

Neutering is very simple, when I got Simba done in 2006 I dropped him at the vets in the morning and could have collected him around 3pm (when they close). I had to leave him till the morning after as I could not get out of work.

He had no stitches and was back to his normal self very quickly.

You should also think about getting Bruja spayed (again a relatively easy procedure), but I think for now Tabujet is your priority.

He is still a beatiful cat anyway despite his gender issues.....lol
