Can I correct an unintentional mistake after the interview

i had my interview yesterday in the General Consualte in Casablanca .Well it was fine, but the consular officer said my case needs further administrative processing.

anyways , one of the questions was ; how long did your fiance stayed in morocco ?

she stayed from March 31 to April 8th, 2007 , I honestly thought it was 10 ten days , so when she asked me that's what i said, and i didn't mean to lie at all.

but today my fioancées stay reccured to me again and i found out it was just 9 days and i now i believe i said something wrong even if i didn't mean it . what shall i do ? shall i e-mail the American consualte and tell them about the unintentional mistake ? or do you think it's not a big deal ?

please help !

I would not worry so much.... being off 1 day on your answer will have no affect on your case...

Yeah, really. I wouldn't give it a second thought.

I wouldn't worry about 1 day either. It's definitely not the end of the world.

8/25/2011 - Biometrics schedule

9/26/2011 - Interview date received

10/09/2011 - Received yellow letter

11/08/2011 - Interview date THANKS GOD went smooth n pretty easy with the nice lady IO takes 9-10 minutes wow???????????????

I think I waited more time for my Oath Ceremony schedule rather than interview process and after 13 minutes the lady gave my sched WOW CAN'T BELIEVE ......yayyyyyyy

08/18/2008- EAD APPROVED ( received date 8/27/2008)

09/17/2008- RECEIVED interview date appoinment

10/29/2008- INTERVIEW date 1:00pm sacramento (approved)

11/05/2008- RECEIVED WELCOME NOTICE

11/07/2008- RECEIVED GREEN CARD

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil
