i wanna just put my signature or just put my full name As IMEE BLAHBLAH as what i am used to in my handwritten and my husband says that its wrong, that i have to put my full name in script handwritten...and i told him i am not used to in writing letters with script handwritten. and i also argue that what it means do not print is do not print my full name in the printer...i know this is so stupid question but can someone tell me pls if my husband is right or wrong?hehhee

As i understand the instructions (which I have highlighted), they want you to write out your entire name. Your husband is correct. Sorry! :)

I would take it to mean they want you to sign your name as you would sign any official document, and they want your entire name. They don't want it printed out "clearly," letter by letter, unless that is the way you always sign your name on official documents. Some documents will say "print here" where you write it out clearly and "sign here" where you sign in your own individual way. This is just asking for the latter. That would be my interpretation anyway.

"Do not print" generally means script as opposed to printing individual letters. They would say not to type if they were telling you not to use a printer. Script signatures are considered official. An example would be where you have to sign for a package (script), and then print underneath. The printed name is for verifying the spelling of the script signature, which is the one that is considered official.

The want your signature.... not your printed name. I'm sure they have the spelling of your name somewhere on the form.

The instructions are not clear. Asking for a signature but telling you how to sign your name may be two different things. My signature does not include my middle name. It is my signature (which is mine and the way I sign) I believe they are asking for your full name in cursive and not really your signature.

My DF tells me off as I only sign my first name initial plus surname. He says I will be expected to sign my full name once I get there. I guess I better start practicing that.

Not necessarily, I thought this too once. Several years ago I sold some stock. I was at my broker's and signing some papers. After I signed them, he looked and said, "Oh, I forgot to tell you. You have to sign your full name." I replied, I don't sign with my full name. My signature does not contain my middle name. He said, "Well you have to, because it's listed on the stock certificate." I quarrelled, saying but that is NOT my signature! He replied with, "I know, but you have to sign the exact name that is present on the certificate." I always thought a signature is your signature.

your sig is your sig. Sign anyway you want.
